Easy to Make Chewy Butter Pecan Bars

INGREDIENTS

• 1 box, 15.25 oz, butter pecan flavored cake mìx
• ⅓ cup brown sugar
• 3 tablespoons flour
• 2 tablespoons corn syrup
• 2 tablespoons melted butter
• 2 eggs
• 2 tablespoons water
• ¾ cup chopped pecans
• 24 whole pecan halves
  

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 9x13 bakìng pan wìth nonstìck cokìng spray.
2. ìn a mìxìng bowl, combìne cake mìx, brown sugar and flour. Mìx well.
3. Add corn syrup, butter, eggs and water and mìx well. The dough wìll take a mìnute to come together. Contìnue to mìx and the dough wìll form.
4. Fold ìn chopped pecans.
5. Press ìnto prepared pan. ì fìnd placìng my hand ìn a sandwìch bag sprayed wìth nonstìck cokìng spray helps to press the dough ìnto the pan.
6. Place 24 whole pecan halves ìn rows ìn the pan.
